sony α350

I would really like to upgrade my Sony α100 with a new body of the α350. I particularly like the incorporation of Live View into the body. Very cool thing.

philips np2900

Fun. Philips has released these new network speakers which have a colour screen, work with internet radio stations and access for computers music library. Very cool bit of kit.

vw twin drive

I am mad keen on the idea of a plug-in car, so I am glad to hear that VW is planning a plug-in hybrid model of the Golf for 2010. It will be powered by a 122 horsepower diesel engine and 82 horsepower electric motor. The batteries only hold a 31 mile charge - but what is unique about this car is that the diesel provides backup for the electric - whereas the Prius and other current hybrids do the reverse - electric providing backup to the conventional engine. I really want a decent electric car though. How far off are we?

mac tablet

I have just gotten my MacBook Air for work, but I would much preferred Apple to have released something like this tablet design which is obviously a bit of a wish from the world of photoshoppers. Cmon Apple.. give in and get us a tablet now.

spacestation

I totally hate all the cables that are hiding behind my desk at work, so I would much prefer something like the SpaceStation from BlueLounge to get me sorted out. It is a long tube to hide all your cables and also to act as a USB hub. Best of both worlds.

aroma waker

Wouldn't you just prefer to wake up to a nice scent rather than that annoying radio station or a buzzer? Abiogenesis has designed Aroma Waker to give you that sensation - and actually includes two different warmer pots so you can have two alarms with difference scents throughout the day.

tannoy i30

It may be a very 70s design, but the Tannoy i30 is quite a cool looking machine. Nicely it has a USB port so you can add more devices than the iPod. Just don't lose the remote, because the body itself has no buttons on it. It will make a big paperweight.

inspirational moments

It is so silly it is good. For all those moments of inspiration that you have while on the toilet we have the WCNotes by The Marcs Work. Very cute thing indeed.

tg favicon

In a market that is all about design, I quite like the sleek design of the TG Favicon satellite navigation unit. But you'll need to head over to Seoul to get your hands on one of these things.
