freezing (abc)
Forty-somethings Matt and Elizabeth are a glamorous and successful couple, at least they would be if one of them could actually get a job. This is the topic of Freezing following a book editor and a struggling actor living in London.

grand designs (abc)
I am totally loving Grand Designs which has evolved over time from just telling the story of weird and cost overrun projects to having some great exhibitions of design. I love the diversity of ideas that people have for their houses.

studio 60 on the sunset strip (dvd)
The set of Studio 60 looks just like The West Wing and given they were created by the same dude - the comparisons don't stop there. Anyway - its all bloody good - I love the characterisation on this one.

the gruen transfer (abc)
The Gruen Transfer hosted by Wil Anderson is just the right mix of cynicism to fit my personality - and you have to love anything that makes fun of how advertising works. Check it out.

my super sweet 16 (foxtel)
My Super Sweet 16 takes you on a wild ride behind the scenes for all the drama, surprises and over-the-top fun as teens prepare for their most important coming-of-age celebrations. I really love watching these spoilt little bitches get their way.
burn notice (ten)
OK, I admit that Burn Notice is a very very silly program, but despite that I quite like the silliness and managed to watch my way through the entire season.

women's murder club (ten)
Women's Murder Club didn't really get much of a rave critical reception when it hit either our of US screens, but I quite like it. I'm so much of a sucker for the a cop show.

skins (sbs)
It has only just started, but Skins is looking like quite the cheeky little series. Well worth checking out on SBS.

flight of the conchords (foxtel)
It is not on TV yet in Australia, but you can find your way around that I am sure. Billing themselves as formerly New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo; the boys from Flight of the Conchords give us a view of their poverty while trying to make it big in NYC.
